|UK: Ferrero Unveils ‘Festival’ tic tac Variant|
|Ferrero has launched a limited-edition flavour for its tic tac brand, called ‘Festival’. The new variant is in line with Ferrero’s history of fruit-flavoured NPD and is designed to drive incremental category growth. The brightly coloured Festival pack contains four fruity flavours – lime, orange, cherry and passion fruit – amd is available in 18g single pack (RSP £0.50) and a 49g 100 pack (RSP £1.25).tic tac is currently experiencing +9% growth as the fastest growing top 10 brand in pocket confectionery. Levi Boorer, customer development director, noted: “We are confident that new tic tac Festival will engage our core audience of 16-24 year olds, with fruity flavours that they love in a festival themed pack that will help them shake up their summer”.
tic tac will also sponsor the Kiss Beach festival, and will appear in TV, radio and press advertising. It will additionally host a branded experiential area at the festival with sampling, while a Facebook campaign will offer consumers the chance to win VIP tickets.
