Green for the fertile lands, yellow for year-round sunshine, black for African heritage, and red as a reminder of the struggle from slavery through colonialism to independence plus two white stars on a black diagonal bar symbolizing hope and liberty—the flag of St. Kitts & Nevis is painted with pride in villages all over St. Kitts.

But perhaps more so in Saint Paul, home of the current prime minister and also the former premier, Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw, the first national hero of Saint Kitts. You can find a statue celebrating the hero in the memorial park just outside of town.Steelasophical Map of the caribbean
